ORLANDO, Fla. — High temperatures are stabilizing in the low to mid 90s. Thankfully, the heat index is being held in check but still could reach triple digits at times during the next few afternoons.
The next couple of days are also projected to be relatively dry. It will be similar to what we saw on Saturday, with isolated showers in the late morning and early afternoon, followed by more scattered rain in the afternoon and the evening.
One or two strong or severe storms cannot be ruled out. The main threats and storms that develop will be wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
Better rain chances will begin to build on Tuesday before a more normal rain pattern returns by the end of the work week.
