DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Beach police said nothing suspicious was found at Daytona State College after officials evacuated all the school’s campuses Friday morning due to a bomb threat.
According to a Facebook post, Daytona State College officials said the school received “a very specific threat that entailed shooting and explosives.”
Daytona Beach police the the active investigation into the threat has ended and that nothing suspicious was found.
Officers said the campus will be closed for the remainder or the days, and they asked people not to attempt to go on campus.
The college said on social media at 10:25 a.m. that all of its campuses were being evacuated “immediately.”

The college said all of its campuses are closed until further notice.
Volusia County Schools said it was working with law enforcement to monitor the situation at Daytona State College, but that no VCS schools were placed on lockdown or were evacuated.
