State launches vaccine locator website but omits some counties, locations

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A new tool is showing Florida residents where to get the COVID-19 vaccine

But like the rest of the rollout, the new locator is not perfect, because some counties are missing from the tool.

The state on Wednesday tweeted out the new vaccine locator. It is also available on the Florida Department of Health’s website.

However, the site has omitted Lake, Osceola and Sumter counties.

For counties that are listed, the site is omitting locations administering the vaccine such as Publix and hospitals.
