Scott Eric Pfundheller, 57, of Seffner, was arrested Friday and charged with six counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of filming, distributing, or possessing image or video of sexual activity with an animal, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office online booking records.

Pfundheller works at WEDU, a public television station based in Tampa, according to WTSP-TV.

According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, detectives in the Special Victims Section served a search warrant at a residence in Seffner on Friday.

Deputies recovered six computer-generated images and videos allegedly depicting child sexual abuse and five videos allegedly containing bestiality, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives also seized more than 40 hard drives that are pending forensic processing, WTSP reported.

“I cannot even begin to express my disgust and frustration in this incident,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “It’s unacceptable.

“I hope this serves as a harsh reminder that these criminals aren’t safe to exploit children in any capacity. Our detectives will find out and they will be arrested.”
