Donovan Dion-Levoi Meadows, 17, of Wichita Falls, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and unlawful possession of a firearm, according to Wichita County Jail online booking records.

According to an arrest affidavit, two investigators with the Drug Enforcement Division of the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office were at a Whataburger in Wichita Falls, KFDX-TV reported.

Because the restaurant lobby was closed, one investigator walked up to the drive-thru menu to check the calorie count of a “Honey Butter Biscuit,” the affidavit stated.

While counting calories, the investigator said he smelled a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from a car in the drive-thru, according to KFDX.

Meadows was pulled over after he exited the drive-thru and handed one of the investigators a marijuana joint when he was asked how much marijuana was in the car, according to the affidavit.

“This much,” Meadows reportedly told the investigators.

The joint later tested positive for marijuana, KDFX reported.

During a probable cause search, Meadows reportedly told investigators that there might be a weapon in the vehicle that belonged to his sister, who had a license to carry, according to the television station.

Investigators did find a black Glock underneath the driver’s seat, the arrest affidavit stated.

Meadows was arrested and bonded out Tuesday afternoon after posting $2,500 bail, online records show.
