RIDGEFIELD, Wash. — The body of a woman found in an abandoned Ridgefield, Washington, barn has been identified by investigators.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the county medical examiner’s office identified the deceased woman as Joanna Speaks, 32, of Oregon. Sparks was discovered just before 6 p.m. on April 8. Authorities believe she was killed elsewhere and brought to the barn afterwards, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators ruled Speaks’ death a homicide, according to KGW8. A cause of death has not been released.
