Eye on the Tropics: Saharan dust chocking tropical wave, Invest-96L

Friday August 2. 

ORLANDO, Fla. — A strong eastern Africa tropical wave, designated Invest-96L is been monitored as it moves west over the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This wave is located over 3,000 miles away from Florida and we have plenty of time to monitor the development and direction of this tropical disturbance.
