ORLANDO, Fla. — Channel 9 continues to track Tropical Storm Grace and Tropical Storm Henri. Read updates below:

11 a.m. update
Grace weakened to a tropical storm after it made landfall in Mexico on Thursday.
Grace
The storm is expected to make a second landfall on the mainland coast of Mexico on late Friday or early Saturday.
Forecasters said the storm will likely reintensify after it reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
Henri
Tropical Storm Henri is expected to remain well offshore over the next few days.
The storm is forecast to be near southern New England on Sunday and Monday.
Little change in strength is expected Thursday, but Henri is forecast to intensify into a hurricane on Friday.
6:15 a.m. update
Hurricane Grace made landfall along the eastern Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico near Tulum on Thursday morning.
The storm made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane, with 80 mph winds.
5 a.m. update
Grace
Hurricane Grace is bringing strong winds and dangerous storm surge to Mexico on Thursday.
The storm’s maximum winds are near 80 mph, with higher gusts.

Grace is passing just south of Cozumel and is approaching the coast of the eastern Yucatan Peninsula.
Forecasters said Grace could strengthen before it makes landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula. It is expected to weaken as it crosses Yucatan, but re-intensification is expected when the center reaches the Gulf of Mexico.

Henri
Tropical Storm Henri is forecast to become a hurricane over the western Atlantic by Friday.
Residents in the northeastern U.S. should monitor its progress, the National Hurricane Center said.

The storm is forecast to remain well offshore the east coast of the U.S. over the next couple of days but could approach southeastern New England on Sunday.
The storm’s winds are near 70 mph, with higher gusts.
Forecasters said some strengthening is possible over the next few days.
