ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 28-year-old man was shot early Monday near a hookah lounge off South Goldenrod Road, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies said the victim was unresponsive when he was dropped off at AdventHealth East Orlando after 3 a.m.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office vehicles surrounded the Real Hookah Lounge near South Goldenrod and Lake Underhills roads for hours Monday morning.

As the investigation into the shooting continued, a dozen people were handcuffed and sat in the parking lot outside the business.
Those people, who would not speak on camera, said they weren't involved in the shooting and were victims themselves. They've since been released.
Surveillance video showed two men walking toward the lounge. Officials said one of the men was holding a rifle behind his leg.
The sheriff's office is hoping someone can identify the men so they can speak with them.
William Lopez said he was about to enter the lounge when he heard several gunshots.
"About 30 people come running out the freaking bar screaming, yelling, "Ah! Ah! ¿Qué pasó? ¿Qué pasó? ¿Qué pasó?,'" he said. "A car comes through here sideways, peeling out, and unloads a whole clip -- at least 15 rounds, the whole thing."
Lopez said he fled to safety.
"I just wanted to get the hell out of there," he said. "I didn't want to catch a stray (bullet) or nothing like that."
Deputies briefly shut down the northbound lanes of South Goldenrod Road after 7 a.m. to search for shell casings.
Witnesses said they heard four or five shots.
Victim information or a motive for the shooting has yet to be released.
