OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Kissimmee Police said U.S. 192 has reopened after officers arrested a man who triggered a standoff that lasted more than an hour Thursday afternoon.
The busy road was closed between Orange Blossom Trail and Michigan Avenue for after police said a person inside was threatening to harm himself and may have been armed.
Video from Skywitness 9 shows heavy police presence surrounding the Flamingo Inn at the corner of U.S. 192 and Kelley Avenue. Police brought a man out in handcuffs just before 5:30 p.m.

Police said the man who was holed up inside the hotel was not hurt.
