MAITLAND, Fla. — A man was fatally struck by a train, the Maitland Police Department said Friday morning.
A jogger discovered the body shortly before 10:45 a.m. near Palmetto Street and Central Avenue not far from Lake Lily Park, Maitland police Lt. Louis Grindle said.
"It is uncertain if a SunRail train was involved or if it involved another rail service that uses the Central Florida Rail Corridor," said Steve Olson, a Florida Department of Transportation spokesman.

Olson said SunRail delays are expected to last into the early evening.
The death remains under investigation.
