DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A frantic and intense search is over after a woman with autism went missing Sunday afternoon in Daytona Beach.
Police said Michelle Ricks, 34, went missing in the 200 block of Bill France Boulevard around 12:30.
Ricks was later found on Oakridge Bridge, which leads to the beach, officers said.

Daytona Beach police said Ricks was found safe after a large group of searchers looked for her.
Officers said they were concerned over her well-being because she has autism, is nonverbal, deaf and has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.
Daytona Beach police have not released any other details in this case.
