Happening today: Orlando Health holds 2 hiring events

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you’re looking for a health care-related job, you might consider making some room on your calendar Thursday.

Orlando Health announced it will hold job fairs at two of its hospitals on Oct. 20.

The first will happen at Horizon West Hospital in Winter Garden from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event aims to fill openings at Horizon West as well as at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.

Positions include:

• Registered Nurses
• Nursing Assistants
• Food and Nutrition
• Patient Access/Registration
• Environmental Services
• Security
• Unit Secretaries
• Radiology Techs
• Respiratory Therapists
• Pharmacy Techs
• Medical Lab Scientists
• Certified Nursing Assistants

The second event scheduled for Thursday will be held at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Billed as a “Nursing Mix and Mingle,” the event will focus on recruiting the following candidates:

• Registered Nurses
• Graduate Nurses
• Student Nurse Interns
• Nursing Assistants
• Certified Nursing Assistants
