MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County Fire Rescue arrived at a call for a collision involving a train and a tractor-trailer near E. Highway 318 and NE 24th Avenue in Citra on Wednesday afternoon.

When firefighters arrived, the train had collided with the front grille of the tractor-trailer. The driver was medically assessed and is expected to be OK.
CSX owns the tracks where the accident happened and is working to clean up the area and resume rail traffic as soon as possible.
Marion County officials say no one on the train was injured.
