Volusia County boy reunited with stolen puppy

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A dog was reunited with its 7-year-old owner Wednesday.

Deputies said Anthony Hill drove up next to the young boy Tuesday and stole the red-nosed pit bull puppy, named Red, the boy was walking.

Several people saw the incident on West Taylor Road and Montgomery Street.

Deputies later found Hill with the dog.

Hill is facing grand theft charges.
