BREVARD COUNTY, Fla.,None — Two women in Brevard County unloading groceries from their car were surprised to find a snake, which looked like it was a boa constrictor, in the trunk.
The women said they had just returned to the Shorewood Condominiums when they found the snake in the trunk.
The car was a rental, so the women said they don't know how long the snake had been there.
The women said the snake was draped across their grocery bags when they looked inside.
"I opened the trunk and it was like, with its tongue coming at me. So I just jumped back," said Kathy Murphy, who found the snake.
Brevard County Animal Control picked up the snake.
