Actor Matthew Perry and his fiancée, Molly Hurwitz, are nixing their walk down the aisle six months after getting engaged, multiple media outlets reported.
The “Friends” alum issued a statement Tuesday to People magazine confirming the split.
“Sometimes things just don’t work out, and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best,” Perry stated.
Perry, 51, began dating the 29-year-old literary manager in 2018, but he didn’t pop the question until November 2020, CNN reported.
“I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time,” Perry told People when Hurwitz said yes.
The split comes shortly after Perry reunited with co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc for “Friends: The Reunion,” a special streaming on HBO Max, Entertainment Tonight reported.
