The City of Eustis, Florida has celebrated the birthday of the first commander-in-chief, George Washington, since the year 1902. Since that first festival those many years ago, the festival has since grown to boast more than 10,000 people attending the event annually. Not only is there plenty of history, but there's also food to taste, parades to watch, live bands to hear, pie eating contests to enter, and so much more! This festival takes place the last weekend of February, the 25th and 26th.
