Hong Kong Disneyland to close again following rise in city’s coronavirus cases

Hong Kong Disneyland will close its park again after a slight increase in the city’s COVID-19 cases.

The park announced it would close again on July 15 after it was reported that 52 more people in Hong Kong tested positive for the coronavirus.

The closing comes less than a month after the park’s reopening.

The resort hotels will remain open with precautions in place with enhanced health and safety measures.

Disney World began a phased reopening for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks over the weekend with enhanced safety measures in place. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios continue to aim for a July 15 reopening.

It isn’t known when Hong Kong Disneyland will look to reopen.
