ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — One person was shot in the arm Thursday afternoon during a drive-by shooting, police said.
The shooting happened at 12:56 p.m. when a victim was stopped at a redlight at State Road 436 and Westmonte, police said.
Another driver in a black four-door vehicle pulled up and shot the other person in the arm, police said. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police told Eyewitness News that road rage may have led to the shooting.
"I thought it was a bad accident or something. Then I saw the truck and thought I'd ask to see what happened," said Michael Carter who got stuck in the traffic following the shooting.
"Our detectives are going to look down this road to see if they're able to catch any surveillance," said Evelyn Estevez with the Altamonte Springs Police Department.
