1 killed, 2 injured in drive-by shooting outside Kissimmee restaurant

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A person was killed and two others were injured Thursday afternoon in a drive-by shooting outside a restaurant, the Kissimmee Police Department said.


The shooting was reported outside Mighty Wings on West Vine Street and North Main streets.

Police said two men got into a fight and started shooting at one another.

One of those men died from his injuries and the other man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

They said a third man who was driving through the area was struck by a stray bullet.

No one has been taken into custody yet.

Channel 9 reporter Nick Papantonis spotted two guns in the parking lot.

Eastbound lanes of West Vine Street were closed from North Main Street to North Central Avenue, but they have since been reopened.
