37 years later, Central Florida Vietnam veteran reflects on trip to memorial

In 1982, six Vietnam veterans loaded up in an RV and traveled to Washington, D.C. for the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

And 37 years later, those memories are still fresh for Mike Galyean.

“The feelings that I had on that trip, and going back and seeing that wall, boy, that really took me back,” Galyean said.

Ch. 9′s Ken Tyndall 's first assignment here allowed him to join the veterans for their overnight trip. He recently reunited with Galyean to discuss its impact.
