They said another adult remains in critical condition and the other adult sustained a non-life threatening injury.

“When I got here, I found my granddaughter lying on the side of the house. And I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’” she said. “It’s so hard to see your loved one when you can’t do anything for them. They are just laying there, gasping for breath.”

The woman said Deterville had four children and that she “loved her children.”

She said the victim who remains in critical condition is her granddaughter.
