Here are our top 9 Cinco de Mayo events in Central Florida.

• Hourglass Brewing will host Batalla de Taqueria beginning Friday at 4 p.m. There will be plenty of food, margaritas and beer. Click here for details.
• Cinco on the Street in Thornton Park returns for its second year. The 808 is hosting the event complete with music, games and drink. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and comes with one free drink. Click here to purchase in advance.

• Celery City Craft will host the “Nacho Average Salsa Competition” at Celery City Craft on Palmetto Avenue in Sanford. Sample salsa at various locations and cast your votes for the best. • Promenade at Sunset Walk’s street party and celebration begins Friday at 5 p.m. with two stages highlighting several genres, dancing and street performers. The event is free.
