AAA predicts Thanksgiving travel will exceed pre-pandemic levels in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — AAA says that highways and airports will be crowded this Thanksgiving.


The agency expects holiday travel will not only meet, but exceed pre-pandemic levels in Florida.

Officials said 89% of travelers will drive to their Thanksgiving destination.

If you’re hitting the road for the holidays, leave early.

Traffic is expected to be worst Monday through Wednesday next week, in the afternoons and evenings.

Traffic should be lighter in the mornings.
