WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — AdventHealth announced the opening of a new inpatient tower at its Winter Garden campus.
The new tower, which opened Tuesday, is part of a $229.5 million expansion at the West Orange County facility.
The five-story, 80-bed tower adds about 227,000 square feet to AdventHealth’s Winter Garden campus and provides more space for new services.
Some of the services offered as part of the expansion will include orthopedic services as well as cardiology, neurology, urology and robotic surgery.
AdventHealth Winter Garden CEO Kari Vargas said the new tower will allow the hospital to better serve the area.
“Our commitment to our patients is to provide accessible, state-of-the-art care, and we are keeping that promise to our community,” Vargas said.
Hospital officials said the new inpatient tower will also bring an extra 400 medical and support jobs to the community.
