BatKid to the rescue: Community helps boy with heart condition’s crime-fighting dreams come true

ORLANDO, Fla. — A pint-sized superhero helped save the day on Thursday when the Orlando Magic’s beloved mascot, Stuff, was kidnapped.

Good thing BatKid was in town and on the case.

The Axel Foundation joined forces with Give Kids The World to make a dream come true for the caped crusader, 6-year-old Masai Wheeler.

Wheeler solved the crime and saved the day at the Amway Center.

The boy, who has a serious heart condition, and his family are staying at the Give Kids The World Village for the week. On Thursday, his superhero dreams came true with a whole lot of help from the Orlando community.
