Brevard County nonprofit reaches Poland-Ukraine border to deliver portable water purifiers

, Fla. — A Central Florida nonprofit is on the border between Poland and Ukraine with portable water purifiers.

Air Mobile Ministries is trying to help meet the needs of the Ukrainian people on both sides of the border.

Joe Hurston and his companions with Air Mobile Ministries reached the border after flying out of Orlando International Airport last weekend.

The Brevard County-based nonprofit plans to deliver 10 portable water purifiers to Ukraine.

On Friday, the group delivered two of them.

“I’m extremely pleased with that,” Hurston said.

Hurston is scheduled to fly back to the U.S. on March 30, but said he will stay at the border longer if needed.
