BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Police said they have arrested a person of interest in connection with the suspicious death of a 3-year-old that happened last week.
West Melbourne police said that with the help of Tift County deputies and U.S. Marshals, they were able to arrest 25-year-old Joshua Manns at the home of his relative in Tifton, GA Monday.
Police had been looking for Manns since June 11 when they began investigating the suspicious death of 3-year-old Jameson Nance.
Manns was booked into the Tift County jail on charges of First Degree Felony Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse, where he is being held without bond awaiting extradition to Brevard County.
Police still have not said how Nance died and that the case “remains an active investigation.”
