Brevard Zoo invites the public to vote on new street name

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard Zoo is asking Central Florida to help choose a new name for the road leading into the zoo after enlisting the help of the students from Brevard Public Schools.

Students from 24 schools sent in 24 options for the road that leads visitors from Wickham Road into the zoo.

The zoo’s education department selected 3 of those and is asking the public to vote for the final pick.

“Brevard Zoo has seen such support from the community from its start,” said executive director Keith Winsten. “It felt right to bring in our community - especially our younger members - to come up with our new street name.”
