MELBOURNE, Fla. — Melbourne police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home late Tuesday evening.
Officials said residents returned home to a residence in the 1000 block of Garfield Street to find the man inside the home.
Police responded to the scene and determined the man died with signs of trauma, according to a release.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Investigators are working to find possible witnesses and what may have led to the incident.
