DELAND, Fla. — A 23-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near the Relief Bridge on the U.S. 520 Causeway, according to Cocoa Beach police.
Deputies confirm no passengers or other vehicles were involved. The victim was not from Cocoa Beach or Florida.
Cocoa Beach Police crash investigators and detectives remain on scene. Police said there is no threat to the public, and the investigation is ongoing.
All lanes are open, but drivers are urged to avoid the area unless necessary, slow down and give emergency crews room to work.
