WEST MELBOURNE, Fla. — The West Melbourne Police Department in Brevard County has initiated a high-visibility enforcement operation along the I-92 corridor to promote safer behaviors and reduce serious crashes.
Officers have engaged with over 100 bikers, nearly 400 pedestrians, and close to 1,000 drivers, and distributed 24 bicycle lights.
According to national data, such operations can reduce crashes and improve driving safety.
