COCOA BEACH, Fla. — The Brevard Zoo plans to release two sea turtles on Thursday.

The Brevard Zoo plans to release two sea turtles on Thursday.

Sea turtles LJ and Grindylow will be returning to the ocean at Lori Wilson Park.

Both turtles were brought into the Sea Turtle Healing Center after needing rehabilitation.

After several months of care, both have been cleared for release since their arrival back in the summer.

The release will be happening at 2 p.m. in Lori Wilson Park at Cocoa Beach.

This event is open to the public.
