Brightline just bought more land; see how it might be used

Brightline has bought more land in Brevard County near its upcoming 170-mile Orlando expansion.

The Miami-based intercity rail system bought two parcels in Titusville from FGD Tico LLC for roughly $38 million at the end of March, according to recent Brevard County records. The two properties are 80.09 acres and 27.82 acres, respectively, and are ,south of Space Coast Regional Airport.

County property appraiser records tie at least 244 acres across the county to Brightline Trains Florida LLC, including properties in Cocoa, Melbourne, Titusville and unincorporated Brevard County.
