“When people prevent firefighters, or any first responders, from responding to calls for service - especially during emergencies - that is extremely dangerous...”

The sheriff’s office said everyone scattered when deputies arrived and no arrests were made.

Store owner nearby said crowds like this have been gathering for nearly a year now, with crowds ranging from 20 to 70 cars.

“Sometimes it gets a little wild. In the past, they had gone down to OBT and closed the intersection down with cars,” said store owner Susan Samara.
