ORLANDO, Fla. — Fans may spot some familiar-looking faces around International Drive when the Sunburst Convention of Celebrity Impersonators returns to Orlando this fall.
The three-day convention will take place Sept. 25-27 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando I Drive ICON Park, located at 8250 Jamaican Court.
The annual gathering brings together celebrity impersonators, tribute artists, look-alikes and other entertainment professionals from around the world. Performers portray music legends, movie stars, television personalities and historical figures.
Organizers say the convention is open to established performers, newcomers to the industry and fans of celebrity impersonation.
This year’s schedule includes educational workshops, industry panel discussions, networking opportunities and meet-and-greet sessions with entertainment buyers and agents. Attendees can also participate in promotional opportunities, red-carpet arrivals and optional showcase performances.
The convention will culminate with the Sunburst Gala, featuring music, dancing, entertainment and awards recognizing celebrity impersonators.
“The Sunburst Convention is much more than a convention — it’s a family reunion for entertainers who share a passion for bringing legendary personalities to life,” producer Greg Thompson said.
Registration is now open. Tickets will also be available for public showcases and the Sunburst Gala.
