ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida Toyota presented a $26,750 donation to the American Red Cross on Monday to support earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.
The check presentation was held at the dealership on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. The company had announced the donation earlier this month as part of its effort to help people affected by the earthquake.
“When people are facing a tragedy like this, helping however we can is simply the right thing to do,” Tony Blankson of Central Florida Toyota said in a statement.
Blankson said the dealership was proud to support the American Red Cross and its humanitarian work.
Central Florida Toyota is part of Penske Automotive and serves customers throughout Central Florida.
