WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — A child was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle near Bridgewater Middle School, according to Orange County Fire officials.
Authorities said the incident involved a vehicle versus a pedestrian, later clarifying the individual was a child. They were then transported to Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital for treatment.
Officials have not released the child’s condition or any additional details about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
