Evening Forecast: Thursday, October 15, 2026 (WFTV)

CENTRAL FLA. — It was a mostly dry Thursday, but we are tracking Weather On the Way for Friday and the weekend.

The light showers will fade away this evening, with mostly clear skies overnight. Morning lows will be in the mid-70s.

A cold front will begin to approach the region Friday. This will increase the chances of rain and storms for the PM hours, with warm highs Friday in the low 90s.

The front sweeps through Saturday, bringing showers and windy conditions for Saturday. Winds may gust over 40 mph along the coast, with highs in the low 80s.

The strong winds continue Sunday, with gusty winds area-wide. Scattered showers are also expected, with temps Sunday only in the upper 70s.

The gusty winds march on for next week. Some coastal showers will be possible Monday and Tuesday, with temps in the low 80s.

More dry air pushes in for the middle of next week, and the winds slowly die down along the coast.
