Coldest weather of the season on its way Sunday night

ORLANDO, Fla. — It is a chilly start to Sunday with temperatures in the 50s.

Temperatures will stay cool throughout the day.


Sunday will be mostly sunny and quiet with highs in the low-to-mid-60s.

The coldest air of the season arrives Sunday night, with many communities seeing temperatures drop into the 40s.

Orlando will see clear skies and a low of 47 degrees Sunday night.

In Orlando tonight, if we hit 49 degrees or lower, we’ll tie the record for the latest start to the cold season. Dec. 19, 2001 holds the current record.

Monday will be nice, after the cold start, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s.
