David Jolly wins Democratic primary for Florida governor

ORLANDO, Fla. — David Jolly has won the Democratic nomination for Florida governor, according to The Associated Press.

With 83% of the expected vote counted, David Jolly received 61.8% of the vote. Dayna Marie Foster received 14.7%.

Florida is electing a new governor because Gov. Ron DeSantis cannot seek a third consecutive term.

David Jolly will face Byron Donalds and other qualified candidates in the Nov. 3 general election.
