OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A body was found in Shingle Creek in Osceola County Sunday evening, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
A male body was located in the water near the Shingle Creek bridge portion of South John Young Parkway.
"At this time, the incident does not appear suspicious," said Twis Lizasuain, a Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
It's unknown if the person drowned. Detectives are conducting a death investigation.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy Monday, Lizasuain said.
No other information was released.
