ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Sheriff’s investigators said a man was shot and killed early Tuesday in Orange County.

Deputies responded to Clarcona-Ocoee Road near Edgewater Drive shortly before 3 a.m.

Investigators said when they arrived at the home they found a man in his 40s had been shot.

The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the case is domestic in nature and that a woman known to the man stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Deputies have not said what led up to the shooting only that it is an active investigation.
