Disney Cruise Line expands Central Florida fleet with new Wish Class ships

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Disney Cruise Line announced its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries Tuesday, bringing more sailings to Central Florida.

Starting in November 2027, three Wish Class ships will be based at Port Canaveral.

For the first time, the Disney Destiny will home port there, offering three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.

The Disney Wish will offer three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral, while the Disney Treasure will continue its seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings.

The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will also offer select sailings from Port Canaveral during the season.

Disney also announced it will return to New York City for the first time since 2023 and expand sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Early bookings open for select Castaway Club members Aug. 31. General bookings begin Sept. 8.
