Update: FDLE cancels missing child alert for 4-year-old and 2-month-old

ORLANDO, Fla. — The FDLE missing child alert for Legend and Nasim Forbes have been cancelled.

2:45 p.m. Update:

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has cancelled the missing child alert for Legend and Nasim Forbes. The children are safe., according to FDLE.

Channel 9 has reached out to the Orlando Police Department for more information.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for two young children out of Orange County.

According to a news release from Orlando police, officers responded to the Parramore area of Orlando in reference to a missing child call on Friday.

When officers arrived, they were met by the caller who told police the two children were taken by their biological mother from their foster mother on Monday, March 13th, and were never returned.

The FDLE alert has been issued for Legend Forbes, a biracial male, 2 months old, 2 feet tall, 15 pounds, light brown hair and brown eyes and Nasim Forbes, a black male, 4 years old, 4 feet tall, 35 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.

The children were last seen in the area of West South Street between Woods Ave and Albany Avenue.

Police said the children may be in the company of Barbara Armstrong, a black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, unknown weight, black hair and brown eyes and Misty Brown, a black female, 5 feet 11 inches tall, unknown weight, black hair and brown eyes.

Misty’s hair is believed to be black and no longer dyed red.
