Teen hit by car on busy Orange County street

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County teen was injured after they were hit by a car along a busy street Tuesday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened along 29th Street and Rio Grande Avenue just before 9:30 a.m.

Troopers said the 13-year-old boy was crossing 29th Street when he was hit by a car.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition.

Troopers said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
