The project would be One Stop Housing’s second in the city of Orlando and its third in the region. Plans were filed April 25 with the city to convert the Ambassador Hotel at 929 W. Colonial Drive into a 150-unit apartment community dubbed Palm Gardens Orlando Apartments.

Mark Vengroff, One Stop Housing’s managing partner, told Orlando Business Journal the developer is under contract to buy the property from Orlando-based Sammys Investments LLC.
