ORLANDO, Fla. — State regulators could approve a proposal Tuesday that would reduce the bills for Florida Power & Light customers.
The company is expecting lower natural gas prices than previously projected.
Now, FPL is looking to pass on those savings to its customers.
FPL is asking to reduce collections by $379 million for the rest of the year.
If the state commission approves the proposal, FPL customers will see the change starting in May.
