Florida proposal could allow telehealth appointments for medical marijuana patients

ORLANDO, Fla. — A new proposal could give Florida patients access to medical marijuana through telehealth services.

A House panel signed off on the plan last week, allowing doctors to renew orders for the drug using telehealth.

Currently, doctors must do a physical exam before ordering medical marijuana.

Some doctors believe this bill would benefit some of the sickest Floridians.
